Today we practice catching a ball rolled to us and then rolling it back to a friend
everyone did a great job waiting for their turn!!!
we got to walk over to church and put the food on the altar
The children enjoyed placing it on the altar with the other donations
This is one of the first places most the children go when we first get to the playground
Today was a great day!! The children are getting so comfortable in the classroom and have developed some real friendships. It is fun to watch the class grow and develop together!!
We read,Give Thanks for Each Day and then talked about things we can be thankful to God.
We had a new activity for center time: we used tongs to sort pom-pom's into ice cubes trays. Such a simple activity with items you may even have around you home is so enjoyable for the children. Plus they are building fine motors skills and hand strength which will be helpful has they begin to print/write. In addition you can also make it into a counting or sorting activity!!
We continued the story of Joshua and the walls of Jericho. The children love singing the song!!
God's blessings to you on the rest of your week!
