Muffins For Moms:
It was nice to see those of you who could join us.... I know the children really enjoyed the extra time with their moms and showing them what happens during Chapel.
Mat Man:
Mat Man is a great activity to help develop body awareness and learn how to draw a picture of themselves.  The children LOVED building Mat Man as a class and then having the opportunity to work on Mat Man individually during center time.  The children enjoyed using the smartboard or building MAt MAn on the floor.  Be looking for MAt MAn to come to your house for a visit.  I am going to try to put the MAt Man song on the blog OR send an email with the song attached ( I apologize as I am just learning how to use the blog to the fullest :) )
Center/Story Time:
We also read a book about Fall and what color the leaves are during the fall.  When then colored a leaf and wrote what we are thankful for.  We added our leaves to our classroom bulletin board.  Come see what your child said he/she is thankful for :)   The children also could choose to paint, use the variety of fine motor developing skills, as well as the variety of centers that were open.  It was a fun and busy day.  Hope the rest of your weekend is wonderful.
Please remember the food drive.........
