Happy Monday!!  So wonderful to see everyone after a week off!!!!  We started something new: walking buddies!!!   Ask your child to tell you his/her walking buddy..... we are assigning walking buddies to walk to and from the playground and also in case of emergency, each child is assigned a partner to walk with.  We assigned walking buddies and then practiced a fire drill...... everyone did great remembering their buddy, but I think we will practice our fire drill again Weds.  I think we got very distracted getting our coats on and then we took a long time leaving the building getting to our "safe spot".  I decided that the teachers will grab the coats/jackets and the children can concentrate on lining up with their buddies.  I know Weds will go much better.

We had a special visitor.. a storyteller.  We got to visit Mrs. Hoehner's prechool 4 classroom in the Sonshine Center and Mrs Woike shared spider stories with us. We then got to make a spider web craft.  The children really enjoyed story time.  What a special treat!

And the children also really enjoyed Jesus Time today.  We wore beards and took care of babies to help us remember God's promise to Abraham.  We also sang Father Abraham(which I was going to post a video of, but made a mistake recording it....check 

back Weds ....)
