up to be next!

During Jesus time we painted stars to remind us to
always follow Jesus

Today in gym we practiced our throwing, jumping, and hopping skills.  The children enjoyed the opportunity to throw balls through hula hoops as wells as hopping and jumping through the  hula hoops on the floor.
We attend gym every Weds, but practicing for our Advent service and then with last Weds being our 1st day back from break, we have missed a few gym classes and I could tell the children really missed playing in the gym.
Today at story time, we read The Biggest, Best Snowman Ever.  The children then had the opportunity to choose to build their own snowmen during center time.  I asked the children to count how many letters are in their name(showing them their own name tags).  We then got 1 snowball for each letter in our name.  The children glued the snowballs together to make their own snowmen.  We will add hats and scarves to our snowmen next week.  You can see them hanging in our classroom when we complete this project.

Please remember NO SCHOOL Monday, Jan 16 th for Martin Luther King Day!
And Donuts for Dads is Jan 18th!!!
